Early last week Jack our National Operations Manager here at Yalagan spent the morning down in a small Aboriginal community called Mogo, just south of Batesman Bay.
As the bushfire rages up the south coast many small communities like Mogo are left suffering amidst the devastation. Mogo among those affected hadn’t seen power in 9 days when Jack arrived. Local community member state that there have been many trucks from the Gold Coast, Melbourne and all over NSW coming in and helping the bush fire affected areas and it is in times like these that the collective strength of community inspires so many.
“Even with all the devastation down here this small community spirts were high and were very welcoming.”
– Jack Fletcher
